Young Adults Kingdom Network (YAKN) began as a small group in 2021, dedicated to gathering
young people for prayer during the last 10 days of each month. What started as a simple prayer group
quickly evolved into a vibrant community focused on equipping teenagers and young adults with the
right spiritual knowledge and nourishment.
Our goal is to help them build a strong
relationship with the Lord and become influential in society through the gospel they have received.
Through consistent prayer and Bible study sessions, YAKN has significantly impacted young
people, all by the grace of God. In June 2022, we organized our first physical conference in Lagos,
which immersed young people in prayer and the Word. The conference focused on exploring the
“Power of the Holy Spirit” and featured guest ministers who joined our lead, Sam Fafiolu, in
advancing this mission.
YAKN has since hosted several other events aimed at preparing teenagers and young adults for life,
ministry, and various expressions of their faith. The current expression of Young Adults Kingdom
Network is the Discipleship School, which is held virtually every month. This is just one of many
ways YAKN continues to fulfill its mission.
"To see a world where young people, empowered by the Holy Spirit, are living in obedience to His guidance and making a profound impact in every area of life they engage in."
"To empower every young person with spiritual confidence through the teachings of the Word of God and the power of prayer, enabling them to make significant and unique contributions to the world."
